Clarus Group Cares

Each year we review and engage with a select group of charities that we feel best align with our core values and serve populations that are near and dear to our employee’s hearts. We look for organizations that not only allow us to contribute to the mission monetarily but also use our knowledge, skills, and abilities to help modernize the charity and/or roll up our sleeves and get physical.

Who We Support

Veterans Community Project

As a Veteran owned organization, we support the Veterans Community Project Village in KC, located at 89th, and Troost in Kansas City, Missouri. VCP is an innovative community of 49 tiny houses for Veterans experiencing homelessness.

The homes range from 240 to 320 square feet, meet all local city code requirements, and connect to city utility services. Approximately 70% of the Village construction was performed by community volunteers.

Inova Health

Our newest charity we have aligned this Spring.  Inova is Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider with more than two million patient visits each year. With the important mission of providing world-class healthcare to the region, Inova is home to Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Inova’s five hospitals are consistently recognized for excellence in healthcare, and we are pleased to support their mission to provide world-class healthcare to each person they serve.

PC's for People

PCs for People is such an awesome organization that we love and appreciate. This group has been a driving force behind digital inclusion efforts across the US. Their mission is to provide technology access that offers employment and educational opportunities to low-income individuals, families, and those with disabilities.

PCs for People have connected over 300,000 people in all 50 states and Puerto Rico and recycled millions of pounds of electronics. Their services include free end-of-life IT asset management and certified data sanitization, technology refurbishing, computer distribution, computer repair, internet service, and technology education.

Hidden Heroes

Hidden Heroes brings vital attention to the untold stories of military caregivers and seeks solutions for the tremendous challenges and long-term needs they face.

Their Goals:

  • Raise awareness of the issues military caregivers confront every day
  • Inspire individuals, businesses, communities, and civic, faith and government leaders to take action in supporting military caregivers in their communities
  • Establish a national registry, encouraging military caregivers to register at HiddenHeroes.org to better connect them to helpful resources and support
